The President of Uganda has the power to eliminate corruption in Uganda through appointing individuals that distaste corruption. The president in Uganda appoints judges, heads of government agencies, ministers and military leaders. The president can appoint individuals that reject corruption, value accountability and strengthen the rule of law. Where public service is manned by individuals who do not engage in corruption that are efficient, effective and competent it ensures that there are a few attempts to compromise systems and allows the safe guards in place to prevent corruption to work.
